What role does God's grace play in the deliverance of His people?

Answered in 1 source

God's grace is the essential force that enables the deliverance of His people from sin and death.

The concept of grace in the context of deliverance is central to Reformed theology, fundamentally asserting that it is God’s unmerited favor that transforms and redeems sinners. In Isaiah 49, the promise of deliverance stresses that it is God who will contend for His people and achieve their salvation. This sovereign intervention is indicative of grace's nature—acting apart from what we deserve and entirely based on God's lovingkindness. God's grace regenerates the hearts of His people, enabling them to come to faith in Christ and partake in the benefits of redemption. It is this grace that brings life from death and assures the believer that they are eternally secure in Him.
