What role does Jesus play at the end of all things?

Answered in 1 source

At the end, Jesus delivers the kingdom to the Father after ruling and subduing all enemies (1 Corinthians 15:24-28).

Jesus has been given all authority and must reign until every enemy is put under His feet, including death, which is the last enemy to be destroyed. After accomplishing this, He will deliver the kingdom to God the Father, signifying the completion of His redemptive work and the perfection of God's eternal purpose. This signifies Christ's dual role as sovereign Lord and humble servant, completing the mission given to Him by the Father while demonstrating the eternal truth of God’s ultimate dominion.
