What should be our response when we hear the gospel?

Answered in 1 source

Our response to the gospel should be a heartfelt 'Yes, Lord,' affirming our trust in His mercy and grace.

When confronted with the gospel, our ideal response is to echo the affirmation 'Yes, Lord,' as a sincere acknowledgment of God's truth and grace in our lives. This response is reflected in the encounters of individuals with Jesus, as seen in the blind men who, when asked if they believed, replied with 'Yea, Lord,' signifying a complete trust in His ability to save. This kind of response is not merely verbal but springs from a deep understanding and acceptance of our need for His mercy, aligning our hearts with His purpose for our lives and elevating our communion with Him.
