What should believers do when they feel overwhelmed by trials?

Answered in 1 source

Believers should turn to Christ in prayer and trust in His sovereignty during overwhelming trials.

When overwhelmed by trials, we should follow the example of the apostles in Mark 4:38, who, despite their fear, turned to Jesus. Believers can find solace and strength in recognizing that Christ is sovereign over every situation. In moments of distress, casting our cares upon Him is essential. It’s crucial to remember the promises found in Scripture, which remind us of His faithfulness and ongoing presence. Just as Christ calmed the storm, He has the power to bring peace to our hearts. Through prayer and trust in His Word, we can find strength and comfort amidst the tempests of life.
