What should Christians confess according to the Bible?

According to the Bible, Christians are to confess their faith in Jesus Christ and acknowledge His redemptive work. In Romans 10:9, the apostle Paul writes, 'that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.'
