What should Christians do in light of Christ's return?

Answered in 1 source

Christians should grow in grace and knowledge, and remain vigilant in their faith.

In anticipation of Christ's return, Christians are called to grow in grace and the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18). This growth involves diligent engagement with Scripture, prayer, and community fellowship. As we remind one another of His promises, we reinforce our faith against the scoffing and doubts prevalent in the world. Additionally, maintaining a focus on eternal things rather than temporal distractions helps believers embody a Christ-like character, living out their faith with conviction and purpose in a time of increasing indifference. A proactive engagement with the Word and with each other helps to prepare our hearts for the coming of the Lord.
