What should Christians do instead of complaining?

Answered in 1 source

Instead of complaining, Christians should bring their petitions to God and trust in His sovereign will (Lamentations 3:40-41).

In times of distress, instead of muttering complaints against our circumstances, Christians are called to bring our burdens before the Lord through prayer and supplication. Lamentations 3:40-41 encourages us to 'search and try our ways' and return our hearts to God. This means actively seeking understanding through God’s Word and genuinely presenting our struggles to Him. When we shift our focus from complaints to genuine communication with God, we open ourselves to receive His comfort and guidance. Trusting in His sovereignty allows us to wait patiently and expectantly for His timing and resolution, fostering peace amidst our trials. This approach honors God and affirms our belief in His goodness and plans for us.
