What should Christians do when feeling troubled or in need?

Answered in 1 source

Christians should turn to Christ, our hiding place, and seek His comfort and strength through prayer and scripture.

When Christians are feeling troubled or in need, the response should be to flee to Christ, recognizing Him as our source of hope and strength. As emphasized in Psalm 42:5, the psalmist instructs the soul, 'Hope thou in God.' This act of turning to Christ is not simply a passive endeavor but an active seeking of His presence through prayer, meditation on His Word, and fellowship with believers. Such behaviors reinforce our understanding of Him as our hiding place and allow us to experience the deep comforts He offers. These moments of need serve not only to highlight our reliance on Him but also to reinforce our faith and remind us of His faithfulness.
