What should Christians do with the light of the Gospel?

Answered in 1 source

Christians are called to share the light of the Gospel openly and actively in their lives.

Jesus, in Luke 8:16-17, instructs His followers that once they have received the light of the Gospel, they must not conceal it. Instead, they should set it on a candlestick so that it may illuminate the lives of those around them. This metaphor of light signifies the truth of salvation in Christ, and it is the responsibility of believers to witness, both in word and deed, the transformative power of the Gospel in their lives. This outward expression of faith is vital in a world filled with darkness, representing not only personal commitment but a communal obligation to spread hope and truth.
