What should Christians expect from God?

Believers are called to live with anticipation of God’s promises being fulfilled in their lives. As stated in Hebrews 11:1, faith is the assurance of things hoped for. We are to look forward to the eternal life promised in John 3:16 and the inheritance described in Ephesians 1:3. God's promises include not only eternal life but also forgiveness of sins and spiritual blessings that come from being in Christ. Therefore, our expectation should not be based on our circumstances but rather on the unwavering character and promises of God.
