What should Christians expect from the world?

In His teaching, Jesus prepares His disciples to anticipate the world's hostility. He states that if they have hated Him, they will also hate His followers. When a person accepts Christ, they embrace a new identity that is countercultural, leading to inevitable friction with societal norms.
