What should Christians prioritize: physical health or spiritual health?

Answered in 1 source

Christians should prioritize spiritual health, as it profoundly impacts our eternal well-being and our service to God.

While physical health is certainly important, it must be kept in perspective relative to spiritual health. Matthew 6:25-33 teaches us to focus on the kingdom of God above all else, reassuring us that our needs will be met. This reflects the biblical truth that concerns about our outward lives should always be subordinated to the condition of our souls. Ultimately, our spiritual health shapes our physical stewardship, guiding us to care for our bodies in a manner that honors God without falling into the trap of body worship.
