The psalmist emphasizes this by stating, 'I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.' This means that when engaging in any good work or ministry, believers should focus their testimonies not on their personal achievements but on what the Lord has accomplished in their lives. Our righteousness is as filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6); it is the righteousness of Christ that qualifies us.
