What should I do when I feel overwhelmed?

Answered in 1 source

When feeling overwhelmed, turn to God in prayer and wait on Him for strength and guidance.

In times of feeling overwhelmed, the Bible encourages believers to wait on the Lord. Isaiah 40:31 reassures us that 'they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.' Engaging in prayer, immersing ourselves in scripture, and seeking the counsel of the gospel can provide comfort and direction. Waiting allows us to step back from our immediate struggles and trust in God's sovereignty and timing. It reaffirms that our ultimate source of strength comes from Him, not from within ourselves, enabling us to face challenges with hope and courage.
