What should our attitude be during times of trial?

Answered in 1 source

We are called to rejoice and seek God's presence in our trials, trusting that they lead to growth.

In times of trial, the believer's response should be one of rejoicing, as instructed in James 1:2-4. This passage highlights that trials are opportunities for growth, as they work patience in us. We are not to be surprised by fiery trials but to recognize them as part of our calling in Christ (1 Peter 4:12). Our attitude should be one of submission to God's will, knowing that He is using these hardships to refine our faith and produce perseverance, which in turn leads to maturity. In this way, trials become transformative experiences that draw us closer to the Lord and enhance our witness.
