What should we do in times of trouble according to the Bible?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible encourages believers to turn to God in prayer and seek His strength during trials.

Whenever we face trials, Psalm 54 instructs us to bring our concerns and fears before God, much like David does. He models the approach of first admitting our helplessness and then seeking God's intervention. This prayerful dependence reflects our recognition of God's sovereignty and capability to deliver us from our struggles. Rather than succumbing to worry or despair, we are invited to lay our burdens at the feet of the Lord, trusting Him for the strength and guidance needed to navigate through our difficulties. This act of prayer not only seeks God's help but also reinforces our faith as we rely on His promises.
