What should we do in times of trouble to trust God?

Answered in 1 source

In times of trouble, we should lean into prayer and believe in God's promised goodness.

Facing trials can challenge our faith; however, Scripture instructs us to cast our concerns upon the Lord through prayer (Philippians 4:6-7). By doing so, we acknowledge His sovereignty over our situation, trusting that His plans are for our welfare. Our response should involve both prayer and a firm belief that God is working out His purposes. The example of Martha in the scripture shows that her doubts arose from a lack of trust in God's timing and power. As believers, we must strive to cultivate a deeper trust in God, reminding ourselves of His past faithfulness and promises.
