What should we do when we feel overwhelmed like Elijah?

Answered in 1 source

When overwhelmed, we should turn to God in prayer and seek His comfort and guidance.

When facing overwhelming circumstances, it is vital for believers to turn their hearts toward God, just as Elijah did in his moment of despair when he asked, 'It is enough; now, O Lord, take away my life' (1 Kings 19:4). This act of pouring out one’s heart to God is not an expression of weakness but a recognition of our need for His strength. Therefore, we are encouraged to present our anxieties to Him, knowing He is compassionate and understands our struggles (Psalm 103:14). Additionally, we must remember that even in our moments of weakness, God is still at work, often refining our faith and preparing us for His greater purpose, just as He did with Elijah.
