When is a person saved according to the Bible?

Answered in 1 source

A person is saved when God works in their heart to bring them to faith in Christ.

According to the sermon, a person is saved when God, in His sovereign grace, operates on their heart, revealing their need for salvation and enabling them to believe in Christ. Philippians 1:6 assures us that God who begins this work will complete it. Salvation is a work of the Lord, initiated and accomplished by Him, and it happens when He pleases to grant faith and repentance – not through human effort or decision, but by divine initiative.
