Where can Christians find true help?

Answered in 1 source

True help for Christians is found in looking to the Lord and His promises.

Psalm 121 directs believers to look to the Lord as the ultimate source of help. Verse 2 affirms, 'My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.' This means that the Creator of all is powerful and capable of addressing every need we face. Furthermore, believers are instructed through Scripture to turn their eyes toward the hills—representing significant biblical truths: our need for law (Mount Sinai), God’s provision (Mount Moriah), and Christ's finished work (Mount Calvary). Each of these hills teaches us where to find help. The practices of prayer and seeking communion with God through His Word reinforce that our ultimate sustenance and support are rooted in the nature and promises of God.
