Where can we find true joy?

Answered in 1 source

True joy can be found in a personal relationship with Christ and through His Word.

True joy is found in our union with Jesus Christ and through the understanding of His work. In 1 John 1:3, John speaks of fellowship with the Father and the Son, framing joy as a relational experience. To nurture this joy, believers are encouraged to immerse themselves in the Scriptures, which reveal the character of God and the savior's love. Gathering in communion with fellow believers and practicing the spiritual disciplines such as reading and meditation on the Word are avenues through which joy is cultivated. Engaging in a genuine faith relationship with Christ ensures that our joy is not dependent on outward circumstances but anchored in our immutable relationship with Him.
