Who is considered lost?

Answered in 1 source

All individuals are considered lost due to their personal sins against God, except for those saved by God's grace.

The Bible teaches that all men, having sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23), are classified as lost. This includes those who may have inherited Adam's sin but ultimately refers to each person's transgressions. Children dying in infancy are an exception, covered by God's grace. However, adults who are aware of their sins are accountable for them, and unless redeemed through Christ, are truly lost and separated from God, unable to claim Him as Father.
