Why are trials considered precious in the Christian life?

In the Christian faith, trials are viewed as precious experiences that serve to strengthen and purify the believer's faith. As indicated in 1 Peter 1:7, the testing of our faith produces endurance and reveals its authenticity. Trials compel believers to turn their focus away from their own abilities and toward God's sufficiency, fostering a deeper reliance on Him.
