Why did the false teachers in Matthew 7 not enter heaven?

Answered in 1 source

They relied on their works and claimed to know Jesus, but their hearts were not converted (Matthew 7:22-23).

In Matthew 7:22-23, it is revealed that many will claim their prophetic works and miracles as justification for entering heaven. However, Jesus will declare, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of iniquity.' This illustrates the critical error of depending on personal achievements rather than a personal relationship with Christ. True faith leads to genuine conversion, and merely professing faith without truly knowing and following Jesus results in exclusion from the Kingdom.
