Why do believers experience trouble in life?

Answered in 1 source

Believers experience trouble as part of a fallen world, but God uses these trials for growth and reliance on Him.

The reality of life is that all people encounter trouble, and believers are no exception. Psalm 107 acknowledges that we face various forms of distress, often stemming from our own folly or the trials of living in a fallen world. However, these troubles serve a purpose—God uses them to draw us closer to Him and deepen our reliance on His grace. Difficulties refine our faith and help us to experience His goodness and mercy more profoundly.
