Why do Christians have hope instead of fear of death?

Answered in 1 source

Christians have hope through the resurrection of Christ, which guarantees eternal life for all who believe in Him.

The fear of death is a bondage that affects all humanity; however, Christians are freed from this fear because Jesus conquered death through His resurrection. This victory assures believers that physical death is not the end, but a transition into eternal life with Him (Hebrews 2:14-15). The assurance of standing in righteousness before God allows believers to approach death with hope, rather than dread, knowing that they have a secure place in God's eternal kingdom.
