Why do people fail to come to Christ?

Answered in 1 source

Many fail to come to Christ because they love sin, feel no need for Him, and don't recognize His value.

People often do not come to Christ for several reasons. They may love their sin and the pleasures of this world, which create a barrier to acknowledging their need for salvation. Additionally, there is a misconception that their moral stature is sufficient, leading them to feel no urgency to seek Christ. Furthermore, many fail to understand the incredible value of Christ and His atoning work; they do not perceive Him as the source of all life, peace, and joy available to them. In Romans 10, Paul notes that even those who are zealous for God may be misguided in their understanding of righteousness, illustrating how widespread this issue is across different groups. The true recognition of one's condition and the worth of Christ is essential for anyone to come to Him.
