Why do people not come to Christ?

Answered in 1 source

People do not come to Christ due to their willful rejection, love for sin, and adherence to traditions.

The sermon identifies several hindrances preventing people from coming to Christ. Primarily, it is their will; they 'will not come' because their nature resists the lordship and authority of Christ. Furthermore, people often love their sins and prefer darkness over light, causing them to shy away from the conviction of the truth. Additionally, many are entrapped by their religious traditions, believing they are righteous on their terms, rather than embracing the simple call of Christ to come and find life in Him. Ultimately, ignorance about sin, God, and the gospel keeps many from experiencing true salvation.
