Why do some people seem blessed while others do not?

Answered in 1 source

Outward appearances do not define true blessing; true blessing is determined by one's relationship with God.

The difference in outward appearances leading to perceived blessings can be misleading. As seen in the parable of the rich man and Lazarus, wealth and comfort do not equate to being blessed by God, while suffering does not denote being under God's curse. True blessing is rooted in one's relationship with God and is measured by His favor, not by material wealth or circumstances. This understanding encourages believers to focus on spiritual realities rather than worldly definitions of success or blessing, affirming the principle that God blesses whom He chooses based on His grace and mercy.
