Why do we need God’s grace?

Answered in 1 source

We depend on God’s grace for salvation and spiritual growth.

God’s grace is essential as it undergirds our entire spiritual life. As emphasized in Ephesians 2:8-9, we are saved by grace through faith, and this not of ourselves; it is the gift of God. Grace is not only foundational for our initial justification but also crucial for our ongoing sanctification. Believers acknowledge their constant need for grace as they contend with sin and strive for holiness, recognizing that without grace, we would remain in our sinfulness, unable to please God or grow in our faith.
