Why does God allow trials and tribulations?

Answered in 1 source

God allows trials to refine our faith and to fulfill His good purposes in our lives.

The sermon explains that trials and tribulations are not without purpose in the life of a believer. God uses these challenges to draw us closer to Him, to teach reliance on His strength, and to cultivate a deeper faith. As we face hardships, we are confronted with our own limitations and reminded of God's sovereignty, which ultimately prepares us for greater works and greater dependency upon His grace and power. In keeping with God's plan, these experiences are deemed wondrous as they align with His purpose for our growth.
