Why does God not leave His people desolate?

Answered in 1 source

God's faithfulness ensures that those who trust in Him will never be forsaken or left desolate.

Psalm 34 declares, 'The Lord redeemeth the soul of His servants; and none of them that trust in Him shall be desolate.' This highlights a crucial aspect of God's character: His unwavering commitment to His people. Throughout Scripture, God promises that He will uphold and sustain those who put their faith in Him. This promise does not imply that believers will escape hardship; rather, it assures them of God's presence and redemptive work in their lives, ensuring that ultimately they will not be left in despair. God's faithfulness is the foundation of our hope, as He works out His purposes for our good.
