Why does God show His love through trials?

Answered in 1 source

God uses trials to demonstrate His love by drawing us nearer to Him and strengthening our faith.

Trials, while challenging, are often used by God to reveal His love and to cultivate maturity in our faith. James 1:2-4 teaches us to consider it all joy when we encounter various trials because they serve to test and perfect our faith. In times of difficulty, God's love is a comforting presence, assuring us that He is near and working for our good. Romans 8:28 confirms that 'all things work together for good to them that love God.' Thus, even in trials, we can recognize the hand of a loving God shaping us to be more like Christ and drawing us into deeper communion with Him.
