Why does God sometimes delay His help in our lives?

There are instances in our lives when God may seem to delay His assistance, and this is not without purpose. As seen in the story of Lazarus in John 11, Jesus intentionally delayed His arrival to Bethany to demonstrate His power over death and bring greater glory to God. This delay served the purpose of strengthening the faith of His disciples and those grieving, leading to a more profound encounter with His glory.
