Why is being a witness for Christ important for Christians?

Answered in 1 source

Witnessing for Christ is essential as it fulfills the Great Commission and reflects our love and gratitude for His salvation.

Witnessing is foundational to the Christian faith because it is a direct command from Jesus, who instructed His disciples to go and make disciples of all nations. Because of the love and grace shown to us in salvation, sharing the gospel becomes an outward expression of our inner faith. It is not mere obligation; it stems from a heartfelt desire to see others saved and a reflection of the light of Christ in us. Our witnessing is a testimony to His transformative power, making God's character known and ultimately glorifying Him.
