Why is being led by God important for Christians?

For Christians, being led by God is fundamentally important because it signifies our dependence on Him for spiritual guidance and truth. As sinful beings, we are prone to pursue our desires and philosophies that may lead us astray. The leading of the Spirit produces a transformation that awakens us to our need for Christ and enables us to live according to His righteousness.
