Why is being part of the family of God important for Christians?

In the family of God, believers find their true identity and belonging, described beautifully in Ephesians 3:14-15. Being integrated into this family means enjoying divine fatherly love, protection, and provision. The relationships within this family, characterized by mutual love and care, reflect God’s nature and serve as an encouragement for believers. Moreover, as members of this family, Christians are called to demonstrate the family likeness by exhibiting attributes such as mercy, humility, and love, which are evidence of our transformation through Christ.
