Why is being under the blood of Christ important for Christians?

Answered in 1 source

Being under the blood of Christ means believers are safe from judgment and eternally forgiven.

To be under the blood of Christ signifies that believers are covered by His sacrificial work, protecting us from the judgment of God. Just as the Israelites were spared from death during the Passover due to the blood on their doorposts, Christians are assured that God's judgment will 'pass over' them because of the blood. This leads to the wonderful assurance that all sins have been forgiven and that believers will never face condemnation. Romans 8:1 emphasizes this truth, assuring us that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ; our safety is entirely rooted in His blood.
