Union with Christ is essential as it is through Him that we are justified and reconciled to God.

Being united to Christ is fundamental for salvation because it is in this union that believers find their justification and reconciliation with God. Romans 8:30 outlines this process—those God predestined, He also called, justified, and glorified. The sacrifice of Christ removed our sins, allowing us to be seen as perfect before God. It is only through Christ that we can be linked to God's love; outside of Him, we remain in our sin and condemnation.
