Why is Christ called our Mediator?

Answered in 1 source

Christ is our Mediator because He stands between God and humanity, fulfilling the law and interceding for us.

In 1 Timothy 2:5, it is declared that there is one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. This role is vital because it signifies that Jesus, through His life, death, and resurrection, reconciles sinners to God. In the sermon, Moses' role as a mediator is highlighted, yet he ultimately points to Christ, who embodies the perfect mediator by providing access to God through His own sacrifice. Christ not only fulfills the requirements of the law on our behalf, but He also continually intercedes for us at the right hand of the Father, ensuring that we can approach God confidently and receive His grace.
