Why is Christ called the only worthy one in Revelation?

Answered in 1 source

Christ is called the only worthy one because He is the perfect Redeemer, fulfilling all the requirements of God's law.

In Revelation 5, the strong angel asks who is worthy to open the book sealed with seven seals, indicating that worthiness requires perfect righteousness and acceptance before God. No one in heaven or on earth fits this criteria—except for Christ. He is portrayed as the Lamb who was slain, perfectly righteous, and capable of executing God’s purpose of salvation. His worthiness stems from His obedience to the law and His sacrificial death, which secures redemption for His people, making Him uniquely qualified to mediate between God and humanity.
