Why is Christ called the strength of our hearts?

Answered in 1 source

Christ is called the strength of our hearts because He sustains and empowers believers through life's challenges (Psalm 73:26).

Psalm 73:26 states, 'My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever.' This verse encapsulates the believer's reliance on Christ as the ultimate source of strength. In times of weakness or distress, it is Christ who fortifies our hearts and gives us the ability to persevere. As we acknowledge our frailty, we find comfort in knowing that God is our unchanging strength and that He will never forsake us, continually guiding us through life's trials and ultimately securing our eternal hope.
