Why is Christ considered our hope of glory?

Answered in 1 source

Christ is our hope of glory because, through His finished work, He fulfills all righteousness and reconciles us to God.

The Apostle Paul explains that 'Christ in you is your hope of glory.' This signifies that our salvation and righteousness come solely through Christ's completed work on the cross, which satisfies divine justice and removes our sins. As believers, we have our identity rooted in Jesus, and our hope rests in His power to save us completely. When we look to Christ and understand His glory, we realize that it represents the ultimate assurance of our redemption and future glory with Him. Thus, He becomes our only hope before God.
