Why is Christ considered the door for salvation?

Answered in 1 source

Christ is the door for salvation as He is the only means by which sinners can approach God.

Christ is regarded as the door for salvation because He establishes the only pathway for sinners to approach God and find acceptance. His sacrificial death and righteousness provide the foundation for believers to confidently enter the presence of the Almighty. In John 14:6, Jesus states, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.' This assertion highlights that Christ's role as the door signifies the necessary mediating function He fulfills for believers. Without Him, there is no access to the Father, making His role central to the salvation experience.
