Why is Christ considered the only source of salvation in Christianity?

Answered in 1 source

Christ is the only source of salvation because He is the only one qualified to redeem sinners.

In Christian theology, Jesus is viewed as the sole Savior because He fulfills the demands of God's justice through His life, death, and resurrection. Ephesians 1:7 states that we have redemption through His blood, emphasizing that only through Christ's sacrificial death can sins be forgiven. His resurrection affirms His divine authority over life and death, conveying that He alone possesses the power to grant eternal life to believers (John 10:28). Therefore, looking to Christ is essential, as He is not only the way to God but also the embodiment of truth and life (John 14:6). No other religious figure can claim this uniqueness and sufficiency.
