Why is Christ considered the true house of God?

Answered in 1 source

Christ is the true house of God because He embodies God's presence and fulfills all righteousness for His people.

Christ is regarded as the true house of God because He represents the fullness of God's presence and the fulfillment of all His covenant promises. Colossians 2:9-10 states that 'for in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.' This emphasizes that all of God's attributes and promises are realized in Christ. Furthermore, everyone who is united with Christ becomes part of this spiritual house, being built up in faith and grace. As believers, our identity and relationship with God are intimately tied to our connection to Christ, making Him our ultimate sanctuary where we find refuge and salvation.
