Why is Christ our peace important for Christians?

Answered in 2 sources

Christ is our peace because He reconciles us to God and creates harmony among believers.

The significance of Christ as our peace is highlighted in Ephesians 2:14-17, where it is stated that He is the one who has made peace for us by breaking down the barriers that separated us from God and from one another. Without Christ, there is no true peace with God, as our sins create a separation. His death is what reconciles us, allowing us to have peace within ourselves and with others. As believers, this peace not only assures us of our right standing with God but also serves as a foundation for how we relate to one another within the body of Christ.
