Why is Christ our prophet important for Christians?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's role as our prophet is crucial, as He reveals God's will and brings us spiritual life.

The significance of Christ as our prophet is profound; He not only relays God's message but embodies it. As the one who brings the good news of salvation, He abolishes death and reveals eternal life through the gospel (2 Timothy 1:10). His teachings provide truth that sets believers free (John 8:32), guiding us in understanding who God is, what He requires, and how we can be saved. Without His prophetic voice, we would remain in spiritual darkness, unaware of God’s grace and truth.
