Why is Christ precious to believers?

Answered in 2 sources

Christ is precious to believers because He embodies ultimate goodness, beauty, and the fulfillment of their deepest needs.

Believers find Christ precious because He is the embodiment of everything we seek for true joy and fulfillment. He is indispensable as the source of life (John 10:10) and sustenance (John 6:35), meeting our spiritual hunger and thirst. Moreover, His beauty shines forth in His perfect character, and His actions reveal a love that surpasses understanding. For the believer, His honor is reflected in the relationship that comes with being called a child of God (1 John 3:1), and this relationship provides a profound sense of belonging and value. In addition, His promise of eternal life offers hope that transforms our temporal existence into one of purpose and joy.
