Why is Christ's blood important for our peace with God?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's blood is essential as it provides the basis for our reconciliation with God.

The precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ is presented as the purchase price for our peace and reconciliation with God. In Ephesians 2:13, it is stated that we who were far off are now made near by the blood of Christ. This signifies that through His sacrificial death, the demands of God's justice were fully satisfied, allowing us access to His presence. Without the shedding of Christ's blood, there could be no forgiveness of sins and, consequently, no peace with God.
